- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I just opened a new checking account at First Merit and I am very impressed with the way I was treated. Judy and her staff were so nice and they always remember me by name. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Super slow and extremely unhelpful!!! Said that we had to speak with a senior banker to add a name onto an account when every other branch has a teller who can do it!!! The banker came over said be with you in one second and had since disappeared to God knows where!!! Tellers are clueless and fiancé and I are cashing out to go to another bank!!! Clearly dose not care about customer service or being helpful!!!! Safe yourself time and trouble and go elsewhere!!!!By Cole Tabor, January 10, 2017
